Usually, second ideas are better than the first ones. And the third ones are better than the seconds. Keep going, until the “A-ha moment.”
All the templates are in vector PDFs. That means you can print them in any size, without losing the quality. A4, A3, A2, or even A1… Maybe make a wallpaper for your wildest ideas!
The essential pages, like imprint/copyright and title pages, are not specified on the templates for your flexibility. But don’t forget, you need them. Make sure you left some room. They are usually at the first 3 pages.
Why 32 and 24 PP?
32-page is the most common page count for picture books. And 24 is the second most common. If you want to be safe, stick to these. But you have other options. Ask your publisher or self-publishing service provider if you need more flexibility.
